works as a freelance Producer for production companies and agencies, primarily in video production, and occasionally producing still photo shoots as well. She began her career in post production at Video Arts in San Francisco, before moving to New York, where she gained hands-on production management experience in television - working on food, fashion, and adventure shows.
Returning to the Bay Area in 2013, Alana works across commercial, branded, digital, narrative, and documentary formats. She values the unexpected people and places she encounters through production, and is passionate about storytelling and making the creative process both efficient and fun.
Alana holds a BA in Race & Ethnicity in American Culture from the University of Michigan and has a strong interest in oral history.
